Infrastructure work is on the forefront for the coming year in Centre Hastings.
Centre Hastings Mayor Tom Deline says that road work will be underway from the four corners in Madoc all the way to the east end of Centre Hastings.
“We’ll be looking at everything there from storm water drainage to water and sewer pipelines and to replacing sidewalks,” said Mayor Deline.
The road works aren’t the only major infrastructure project in the community, with plans in place to work with the VIP business improvement team to put in a new foot bridge linking downtown Centre Hastings to the western river community.
