The Elevate Plus program is celebrating its 36th graduating class.
Quinte Economic Development Commission (QEDC) reports nine successful graduates have come out of the latest cohort and each has been offered a full-time job with a local manufacturer.
Elevate Plus, delivered by Loyalist College, offers comprehensive and hands-on training for a career in the Bay of Quinte manufacturing sector.
“We are incredibly proud of the accomplishments of the graduates from the 36th cohort of the Elevate Plus program. This milestone not only represents their personal achievements but also underscores the success of the program in meeting the workforce needs of the Bay of Quinte manufacturing sector,” said Chris King, CEO of QEDC.
A graduation ceremony was held Friday at Loyalist.
At the graduation, Hastings County Community & Human Services was recognized with the program’s third Community Partner Recognition award.
They join JBS Foods Ontario and Quinte Transit as key program partners.
Since 2014, Hastings County Community & Human Services has supported over 230 program participants with various supports.
