It’s an all Canadian matchup on Day 2 of the World Junior A Hockey Challenge in Truro Nova Scotia this evening (Monday) when Team Canada East plays Canada West.
Canada East defeated Slovakia 7-2 in their opener Sunday. Belleville native Trevor Hoskin had two power play assists.
Canada West fell to Sweden 4-2 in their first game.
Trenton Golden Hawks head coach Derek Smith is an assistant coach with the Eastern squad which includes Taeo Artichuk of the G-Hawks.
