The City of Belleville is asking for the public’s comment on the draft 2023-2027 Transit Multi-Year Accessibility Plan.
The plan, done in conjunction with the City of Belleville’s Multi-Year Accessibility Plan, looks to better address what the city calls “the unique characteristics of our transit system.”
It outlines goals for transit over the next four years including the city’s hopes to integrate as many riders as possible on the city’s accessible conventional transit fleet, while continuing to provide a parallel Mobility Transit service for those citizens with different needs.
Comments are to be submitted by December 21. Feedback will be looked at by city staff when finalizing the document before it arrives to Belleville City Council for final approval early next year.
More on the plan, as well as a link to comment, can be found at the City of Belleville’s website.
