The Trenton Golden Hawks dismantled the North York Rangers 8-2 on Friday night.
Gianni DiVita, Caleb Van de Ven, Cooper Matthews, Barret Joynt, Adam O’Marra, David Fournier, and Thomas Kuipers scored for the Golden Hawks.
The Golden Hawks got off to an explosive start with two unanswered goals in the first frame, and two more in the second. The Rangers slipped in their only two goals of the night before the end of the second period, before the Golden Hawks grabbed four unanswered goals in the third to win the game.
The Golden Hawks are back in action on Sunday against the Markham Royals.
