A Belleville woman should have heeded the advice of police.
Belleville police were asked to check on a woman in the city’s west end Thursday around noon after she had been sent home from work due to her level of intoxication.
Fellow employees had driven the woman home with her vehicle.
When officers attended the residence they advised her to stay home and not drive as they could still smell alcohol on her breath.
Around 3:30, police were called to the woman’s workplace after she allegedly drove back to work.
Thirty-three-year-old Danielle Wilson was arrested at the scene on charges of impaired driving and driving while over .80mgs (having more than the legal limit of alcohol in her blood).
She was released from custody with a court date set for January 4.
