Northumberland OPP have laid charges following an intimate partner violence investigation.
On December 6, 2023, at 9:49 p.m., OPP were dispatched to a report of an assault at a property in Alnwick-Haldimand Township.
As a result of an investigation, a 40-year-old man from Alnwick-Haldimand Township was charged.
He was charged with the following:
- Assault – spousal
- Uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm
- Mischief
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg at a future date.
