COVID-19 infections remain steady across the region.
This week’s Hastings Prince Edward Public Health COVID-19 dashboard shows 64 new high-risk cases and a total of 84 active cases.
There were 82 active cases last week.
Four new COVID related deaths were also added bringing the total to 140.
Public Health reports that the deaths did not necessarily happen in the last week but the dashboard has been updated to include missing historical deaths that have occurred since 2020.
The number of outbreaks in high-risk settings remains unchanged at four.
The dashboard shows 16 per cent of residents in Hastings and Prince Edward Counties have received a COVID vaccination in the last six months, an increase of one per cent from last week.
Also this week, HPEPH reported its first lab confirmed case of Influenza A of the season.
