The annual Trenton Kiwanis Luncheon has raised over $70,000 with more money pouring in.
The luncheon took place at Heroes Landing on Stella Crescent in Trenton.
President of the Trenton Kiwanis Club, Lisa Kuypers, says money raised goes towards Christmas Sharing food hampers and hygiene products as well as other organizations.
“It’ll go to the food bank, we donate to the Strong Kids campaign, the pregnancy clinic and lots of other organizations within Quinte West that are not for profit,” Kuypers tells Quinte News.
Festivities at the luncheon include a meal, live auction, games, comedy, and fellowship.
Kuypers says she is always impressed with how the community responds.
