The Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board has unveiled its new website.
The new site takes a “less is more” approach with strong visuals led by the Bay of Quinte brand’s illustrations, but with improved functionalities and a new look and feel.
Some of the features at bayofquinte.ca include a regional events calendar, a digital map with over 700 local organizations, the Bay of Quinte Discovery Guide library, seasonal blogs and a host of other content to help visitors and residents explore the area.
The Regional Marketing Board team worked closely with local full-service agency SNAP 360 to bring the vision to life.
“The team at Snap360 was integral to the process of the redesign,” notes Executive Director Dug Stevenson. “We’ve received really positive feedback over the past several weeks with our soft launch, where we conducted online focus groups and reviews with our partner organizations. Now we’re excited to officially tell the rest of the world and continue to build on the site from here.”
“As we’ve done with our brand, we started out with the intention to create something that looked different than other destination websites, and I think we’ve done just that,” says Jen Achilles, the Regional Marketing Board’s Manager of Media and Design, who led the project from design conception through to execution.
