The Trenton Golden Hawks slipped past the Cobourg Cougars 3-2, extending their winning streak to 10 games.
Ryan Nichols, Adam O’Marra, and Taeo Artichuk scored for the Golden Hawks.
The Golden Hawks got off to a slow start, giving up two unanswered goals to the Cougars in the first frame, before coming back to take two of their own in the second. With both teams tied in the third period, the Golden Hawks grabbed the final goal of the night to take home the win.
The Golden Hawks are back in action on Sunday night, hosting the Markham Royals.
