Northumberland OPP have made an arrest following a nearly five-month assault investigation.
Police responded to an alleged assault at Victoria Square in Cramahe Township on July 5.
The complainant declined medical attention.
A suspect was identified and a warrant was put out for his arrest.
Sunday afternoon, officers arrested the suspect without incident at a Colborne address.
Twenty-eight-year-old Cody Ball of Colborne is charged with:
- Assault with a weapon
- Assault
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm
- Mischief under $5000
The accused was held for bail to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg.
