A gofundme page has been set up to support the family of the teenage girl struck by a vehicle Friday night on 2nd Dug Hill Road in Trenton.
Fourteen-year-old Seryn Lazzaro was struck by a car and suffered serious head and lung injuries and at last report was in a coma in Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto.
Her father and mother are taking time off work to be with their daughter.
As of early Tuesday morning over $11,000 had been raised for the family.
The driver of the vehicle did not remain at the scene of the collision but 51-year-old Dean Potter of Quinte West was arrested and charged Saturday.
