The Wellington Dukes defeated the Stouffville Spirit 3- 1 on Saturday night.
Ben Vreugdenhil, Will Whelton, and Sacha Trudel scored for the Dukes.
The Dukes got off to a strong start with two unanswered goals in the first period, before a deadlocked second where neither team could score. During the third, the Spirit managed to get on the board with their own first of the night, but the Dukes scored a third goal and kept a strong lead to win the game.
The Dukes host the Oakville blades tonight at 2:30.
