The Trenton Golden Hawks defeated the Stouffville Spirit 4-2 on Friday night.
Barret Joynt, Corbin Roach, James Jodin, and Matthew Lee scored for the Golden Hawks.
The Golden Hawks opened scoring early in the first period, but the Spirit got a goal of their own to tie the game before going into the second frame. During the second period, the Golden Hawks took an unanswered goal to regain the lead before the third period saw them take two more goals to solidify their lead. A late goal by the Spirit couldn’t turn the tide, and the Golden Hawks took the win.
The Golden Hawks are back in action on Sunday to face the North York Rangers.
