There were no injuries caused by a house fire in Prince Edward County Wednesday afternoon.
Prince Edward County Fire & Rescue received multiple 911 calls and responded to a structure fire on Victoria Road near Highway 62 at 12:48 p.m.
Crews arrived to find a working structure fire and a defensive operation was established.
The house sustained significant fire damage with the loss estimated at $750,000.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Fire crews are expected to remain on scene until this evening.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
