The Ontario Junior Hockey League’s Team Hawerchuk improved to 3-0 at the Eastern Canada Cup in Trenton following a 3-0 win over the Maritime Junior Hockey League.
Belleville native Trevor Hoskin picked up his fourth point in three games, an assist. Golden Hawks forward Dillon Stiles had two assists. Stiles says the team has come together quickly.
Wednesday is the final day of the tournament at the Dunc McDonald Community Gardens. Games begin at 9 a.m.
Team Hawerchuk plays the Quebec Junior Hockey League in their final round robin game at 2 p.m.
The top four teams will advance to the playoffs.
