A Madoc Township woman has been sentenced after a wild police chase on Highway 62 in Centre Hastings last spring.
On March 5, OPP tried to stop a vehicle which was speeding but instead the vehicle sped up, weaving in and out of traffic and only came to a stop when police cruisers blocked the highway.
Meagan Ferguson was arrested and faced a long list of charges.
Recently in a Belleville courtroom she was given a five-month conditional sentence on top of 200 days already served in custody, a three-year driving prohibition and 12 months probation.
She was sentenced for dangerous driving, possession of a prohibited weapon or ammunition, and breaching probation.
All other charges including drug and Highway Traffic Act counts were withdrawn.
