Northumberland OPP say the victim in a fatal collision between a motorcycle and tractor trailer Monday afternoon in Brighton was a 38-year-old male from The Municipality of Trent Hills.
Shortly before 3:50 p.m., members of the OPP, Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services responded to County Road 30 near County Road 29 for a collision involving a motorcycle and a tractor trailer.
The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital where they were pronounced deceased.
County Road 30 was closed until around 10 o’clock Monday night.
The investigation remains ongoing.
