The Wellington Dukes shut out the Pickering Panthers 3-0 on Friday night.
Hayden Pimm and Panayioti Efraimidis scored for the Dukes, while goaltender Jack Lisson earned a perfect game.
The Dukes came out swinging with two early goals in the first period. The Panthers outshot the Dukes 16 to 10 in the first period but Lisson didn’t let any shots get past him.
Neither team was able to score in the second period, but a third period goal for the Dukes sealed the deal, earning them the win.
The Dukes will take nearly a week off, before hosting the Aurora Tigers at the Duke Dome on Friday.
