The staff at the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation are all smiles Tuesday morning, as the foundation gala surpassed the goal for their annual gala.
More than $400,000 was raised at their Boots and Bling Gala Saturday at Heroes Landing on Stella Crescent.
T.M.H.F. Executive Director Wendy Warner:
“I was so inspired and so grateful to the generosity of our community. They blow me away all the time. Just when I least expect it, I see these people rise up.”

Warner says when the Fund-A-Need portion of the evening came up, the money came in like wild fire.
“Pioneer (Patient Transfer Service) bought a cystocope for $30,000, Deerhaven (Karen and Ken Morton) stepped up for $30,000, the Belleville Senators stepped up with $20, 000. The list goes on and on.”
She says the C-Arm machine is an incredible piece of equipment.
“A C-Arm provides x-ray imaging in real time that’s used for orthopaedic and urology procedures in our ambulatory/surgical department. It is an expensive piece of equipment, but boy oh boy it provides a lot of relief to a lot of people.”
