Prince Edward County says students at Prince Edward Collegiate Institute have been evacuated after a gas odour in the school.
The students evacuated to the Picton Arena.
Everyone is safe and the fire department is on scene.
School staff are supervising students as they walk to the Picton Arena.
The Hastings and Prince Edward School Board is advising parents and caregivers not to go to the Arena until after 1 p.m. to allow everyone to get to the arena and for staff to take attendance.
Dismissal will happen at normal time from the arena for students who are not picked up early.
Buses will also pick up at the arena at normal time and proceed to homes from there.
