Centre Hastings OPP are reporting a successful drug bust in Madoc on November 2.
Members of the Community Street Crime Unit and Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant at a home on St. Lawrence Street West.
As a result of the search warrant, two individuals were arrested at the residence and a large amount of cash and suspected drugs were seized.
Forty-seven-year old Rhonda Fults and 41-year-old Darryl Allen, both from Madoc, were charged with the following offences:
• Four counts of Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking,
• Possession of a Schedule III substance for the purpose of trafficking,
• Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000 and
• Fail to comply with Probation Order.
Allen was also charged with a second count of Fail to comply with Probation Order.
The pair were held in custody, pending a bail hearing.
