Police charged the driver in an alleged fail to remain collision Halloween night in Belleville.
Just after 9:30 p.m., police received a call that a vehicle had lost control and struck a stop sign at Earl and Coleman street, knocking it over.
The vehicle left the scene.
Police located the vehicle and driver a short distance away.
Mohit, a 23-year-old male from Belleville, is charged with operation while impaired and fail to remain at the scene of an accident.
He was released on an undertaking with a November court date.
