The Pirates scored three goals in the third to secure the victory.
Elsewhere, the Port Hope Panthers overcame the Napanee Raiders 4-2.
Former Trenton Golden Hawk Nate Burelle scored two goals for the Panthers in the win.
The Campbellford Rebels were close to securing their first win of the season but ultimately fell to the Amherstview Jets 6-5.
