A Bancroft woman will serve another three and a half months in jail after pleading guilty to assault with a weapon and uttering threats charges recently.
Heidi Brethour, 43 years of age at the time of her arrest in early August, was charged following an early morning assault which left an unidentified person with serious injuries.
Recently in a Belleville courtroom Brethour was sentenced to 105 days in jail on top of 105 days already served, 18 months probation, and a lifetime weapons ban.
A charge of attempted murder was withdrawn.
