Charges were laid in Belleville after numerous vehicles were damaged in the downtown area.
Early Thursday morning, officers responded to the report of vehicle windows being smashed out.
A complainant began to pursue the suspect and a short time later officers assisted in the search.
Thirty-two-year-old David Cooley-Rushlow of no fixed address was arrested.
He is charged with two counts of mischief under $5,000 and breach of probation.
Cooley-Rushlow is in court next month.
