After winning 11 of their first 12 games of the OJHL season, the Trenton Golden Hawks have fallen on hard times.
At least relatively speaking.
Trenton ran into a hot goaltender in Cobourg Monday night while dropping a 4-2 decision to the Cougars.
Ryan Pieros stopped 43 of 45 Trenton shots to hand the G-Hawks their second straight setback.
Banjamin Bonisteel turned away 25 of 29 shots in the Golden Hawks net.
Adam O’Marra scored his 10th and Ryan Cutler his 7th for Trenton.
The Golden Hawks are in Markham on Friday night.

In Junior C play the division-leading Frankford Huskies lost 5-4 in overtime to the second place Port Hope Panthers.
That’s just the second loss of the season for Frankford.
