The Trenton Golden Hawks smashed the Aurora Tigers 7 to 4 on Friday night.
Adam O’Marra, Barret Joynt, Kayson Un Yi, Lucas Lapalm, and Matthew Lee scored for the Golden Hawks.
The Golden Hawks opened scoring in the first period, but the Tigers came back with two of their own to take the lead before the end of the frame. During the second frame, the Golden Hawks went wild with four unanswered goals to claim a commanding lead that the Tigers wouldn’t be able to match. While the Tigers took two more goals in the third period, the Golden Hawks did as well, maintaining their lead and winning the game.
The Golden Hawks face the Haliburton Huskies this afternoon. Game time is 4 p.m.
