Defenceman Lassi Thomson wasn’t a member of the Anaheim Ducks very long.
After being claimed off waivers from Ottawa last week the Senators reclaimed their 2019 first round pick off the waiver wire Monday and reassigned him to Belleville.
Last week’s move by Ottawa was necessitated due to the Sens’ intention to send Thomson back to the American Hockey League, however, the Ducks made a claim.
This will be Thomson’s fourth season with the B-Sens. He has also played 16 games with Ottawa.
Thomson joins captain Dillon Heatherington, Jacob Bernard-Docker, Max Guenette and Jacob Larsson on a veteran Belleville blue line.
