The City of Belleville’s Glanmore National Historic Site is celebrating the spooky season with a special exhibit and family-friendly Halloween event.
The Creepy Curiosities exhibit features unusual artifacts throughout the restored rooms of the museum located at 257 Bridge Street East.
Artifacts on display include a wicker body basket, whimsical woodcarvings, a mythical mermaid, and other oddities from Glanmore’s artifact collections.
The Creepy Curiosities exhibit is included with regular museum admission and continues until November 5.
At Glanmore’s “Family night at the B00-seum” on Friday, Oct. 27, visitors are encouraged to dress up, watch spooky silent films, make creepy Halloween crafts and enjoy some indoor trick or treating.
Family Night at the B00-seum is an all-ages event. Regular museum admission applies. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged. Advance tickets for the event can be purchased at www.ticketscene.ca.
