The Municipality of Brighton released its building stats report for the month of September on Tuesday.
A total of 18 permits were issued for the month of September, more than the 8 issued during September 2022.
This includes four permits for single-unit condos issued to Leblanc Enterprises.
The total estimated cost of the permits are a total of over $3.6 million. That is more than this time last year when the estimated cost was over $2.2 million in September 2022.
Up to this point in 2023, a total of 141 permits have been issued. That’s less than the 166 permits issued at this point last year.
The total estimated cost of the permits issued up to this point in 2023 is over $67.8 million, more than the $40.2 million at this point in 2022.
