Two people were charged after an arrest in Tweed Friday afternoon.
The Central Hastings OPP Street Crime Unit responded to Valu-Mart in Tweed on Victoria and Jamieson.
A man and woman wanted on arrest warrants were on scene and reports indicated they could be armed.
One source to Quinte News says that officers, with weapons drawn, apprehended a male suspect, while a female took off, but was eventually cuffed.
