It was a rough five days for the Wellington Dukes which ended with a 5-2 loss to the visiting Milton Menace Sunday afternoon. It was the third straight loss for Wellington dropping their record to 5-4-0-2.
Connor Hunt with his seventh of the season and Panayioti Eframidis with his third.
The Dukes are off until Friday when they host the Markham Royals.
Tweed 15 Frontenac 2
The Tweed Oil Kings gave their fans plenty to cheer about in their Eastern Ontario Superior Hockey League home opener.
Darren Doherty scored the hat trick as Tweed trounced the visiting Frontenac Phantoms 15-2.
Elijah Brahaney scored twice with three assists. Mitch Purday had four assists.
Tweed is 2-1 to start the season.
They travel to Smiths Falls on Saturday.
