Belleville’s Sara Svoboda has been named to the starting lineup for Canada when they face England in a women’s international rugby contest Saturday at StoneX Stadium in London.
Sara will start at open side flanker.
This will be the 23rd time Svoboda will wear the maple leaf for Canada in a senior women’s international rugby match.
This is the second match of a two-game series between Canada and England which will serve as early lead-up matches for the 2025 World Cup. England won the the first match 50-24 last weekend.
Kick-off is 10 a.m. local time Saturday morning and will be televised on TSN+.
