A special community announcement was made by Stephen and Heather Tobey recently. They revealed that their home being built at 52 Beacon Drive in the new Hamilton Woods Development will be sold and the net proceeds donated to the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation. It is anticipated that with the level of support they are receiving from their trades and suppliers that a minimum of $400,000 will be donated upon its sale.
“Stephen and I have always felt that it is important to give back to our community. Good healthcare is something that we ALL need, so this project felt like an excellent opportunity to serve everyone in our community in a meaningful way,” says Heather Tobey, Gordon Tobey Developments Ltd.
The home that has been chosen is their Gray Birch model which is 2096 sq. ft. and features a level front entry making this home suitable for homeowners with mobility challenges who require additional space for family and guests.
The home will be sold upon completion which is anticipated to be in June 2024. All funds received will be directed to priority medical equipment needed at the hospital which is not provided for in the provincial tax budget.
Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation raises funds to support the purchase of critically needed medical equipment. This year over $2.1 million is required. There are various ways people can donate such as monthly, in their will, hosting events etc. To learn more, go to tmhfoundation.com.
