Over 300 Grade 12 graduates from Hastings Prince Edward District School Board secondary schools earned Ontario Scholar status in the last school year.
To be named an Ontario Scholar each of the 336 students had to complete at least six Grade 12 courses with an 80% average or higher.
Centennial, Bayside, and Eastside secondary schools had the highest percentage of Ontario Scholars at just under 50% of grade 12 graduates.
