It was perfect day as far as the weather was concerned Saturday and it turned out be a great day for a drive all the while benefitting Hospice Quinte.
Shelby MacPherson of Hospice Quinte told MIX 97’s Sean Kelly and Mariam Serkal Monday the Harvesting Hope Car Rally and Scavenger Hunt was overwhelming.
“Fantastic! We had a great turnout. We had 38 cars registered and I think overall Sean we raised $45,000 on the weekend.”
The $45,000 raised during the car rally is enough money to operate Hospice Quinte for about a month.
