A new team has joined the Eastern Ontario Super Hockey League.
The Centre Hastings Ice Miners had their debut game on Saturday night, facing off against the Smiths Falls Rideaus.
The Rideaus dismantled the newcomer team 7-0.
The Rideaus kept pressure on the Ice Miners the entire game, scoring twice in the first and second periods, with a three point third frame to close out the game.
The Ice Miners will travel to face the MV Wolves on Saturday.
