The Trenton Golden Hawks shut out the Lindsay Muskies in their Friday evening game, defeating them 4-0.
David Fournier, Lucas Lapalm, and Owen Ireton scored for the Golden Hawks.
The Golden Hawks took the lead late in the first period with a goal by David Fournier with less than three minutes left on the clock, and from there they never let it go. With a second goal in the second frame and two more in the third, the Golden Hawks’ lead only grew as they kept the Muskies from even getting on the scoreboard.
Benjamin Bonisteel played a perfect game of goalkeeping for the Golden Hawks, playing for the entire game and making 31 saves.
The Golden Hawks’ next game is against the Collingwood Blues on Tuesday.
