Gleaners Food Bank is the big winner after the inaugural Belleville Downtown Bluesfest last Saturday.
The event, which was free but accepted donations of cash and food for Gleaners, raised more than $5,000 and 500 pounds of food.
Live music and blues-themed activities and workshops were featured throughout the downtown.
Organizers Carol Feeney and Tony Vani say they are pleased with the results of the event and are already planning for next year.
