It’s a long way from Wellington to Buffalo and maybe the Dukes just ran out of gas.
Playing their fourth game in six days Wellington lost 7-3 to the Buffalo Junior Sabres Wednesday night. It was just the first regulation loss for Wellington so far in the OJHL season.
The score was tied 2-2 in the first period before Buffalo scored five straight goals.
Zander Latreille, Connor Hunt and Cory Jewitt with his 5th of the season scored for the Dukes.
They don’t get much time to rest as Wellington hosts the Caledon Admirals at Lehigh Arena Friday night at 7:30.
