The Bain Excavating Rockies are one win away from a three-peat in the South Hastings Baseball League.
Joe Blakely pitched a complete game two-hitter while striking out 10 as the Rockies shut out Uen’s Pole Line 6-0 to take a 3-2 lead in the best of seven final.
A.J. Burlington and Ty Green drove in two runs each.
Game 6 is Thursday night at 7 o’clock in Melrose.
