Belleville police responded to 99 calls for service over a 24-hour period from 5 a.m. on September 18, 2023 to 5 a.m. on September 19, 2023.
Breach of Undertaking
On September 18, 2023 at 8:24 p.m., police responded to a residence in the area of Albert Street and Dundas Street East regarding an intimate partner dispute. Police spoke to the involved parties and learned that the male involved was currently breaching two separate conditions of a previous release order from an unrelated incident. As a result, police arrested the 33-year-old Belleville man and charged him with two counts of breaching his undertaking. The male was transported to the Belleville Police Service where he was held for bail.
Also in the past 24 hours, police responded to numerous other incidents including eighteen 911 hang-ups, five suspicious persons calls, two intimate partner disputes, four traffic complaints and seven motor vehicle collisions.
