Volunteers are needed this weekend to plant 300 trees at a Belleville Park.
The trees are being planted at Township Park as part of TD Tree Days.
The City of Belleville, Rotary Loves Trees and Quinte Conservation are also part of the event.
This year, TD is working together with 98 community-based organizations to plant over 30,000 trees and shrubs across Canada and the U.S.
More than 490,000 trees & shrubs have been planted by volunteers through TD Tree Days since 2010 with a goal to plant one million by 2030.
Participants are encouraged to register first, bring a shovel, gloves, comfortable foot wear and a water bottle.
