Peterborough OPP are investigating after an ATV accident resulted in one man being sent to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police responded to a call for an accident on Bass Lake road in Trent Lakes, where a 49-year-old man had been riding an ATV. The man had become separated from his group and was later found laying beside his ATV by an unrelated party.
Due to the severity of the man’s injuries, he was airlifted to a trauma centre.
Anyone who may have witnessed the collision, has surveillance video, or dash-cam footage from this date/time on Bass Lake Road who has not spoken with police is asked to contact the Peterborough County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
