A non-profit organization that supports vulnerable individuals, seniors and families will receive a much-needed financial boost from 100+Women Who Care Quinte.
Community Partners for Success in Trenton was selected as the chosen charity to receive a significant donation Wednesday night.
A donation total will be released at a later date.
Community Partners for Success provides outreach support, emergency meal programs, food hampers, tents, sleeping bags and other supplies
to homeless people.
Christine Stevenson, Executive Director of Community Partners said the donation will mean “feeding more people.”
On an average week over 100 people drop by the group’s centre on Elgin Street for meals and other help.
Since its inception in 2015, 100+Women Who Care Quinte has donated almost $310,000 to 28 community organizations.
