The final matchup for the Thornton Portt Memorial Championship Trophy in the South Hastings Baseball League is set.
For the third year in a row it will feature Uen’s Pole Line against the two-time defending champion Bain Excavating Rockies.
Game one in the best of seven series will be played Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock. Game two is Tuesday at 7 o’clock. All games will be played in Melrose. (Full schedule below.)
After trailing two games to none in their best of five semifinal series, Uen’s won three in a row including 9-5 in the deciding game Thursday night.
