There was an unnerving incident around Bell Boulevard in Belleville Wednesday night.
City police report a man brandishing a knife threatened a couple and damaged some of their
property shortly after 8 o’clock.
Police located a suspect two hours later in the north end of the city.
Forty-six-year-old Paul Laroche-Davidson was charged with uttering threats, mischief, and two counts of breach of probation.
He has an October court date.
Meanwhile, a Belleville woman faces fraud and breach of probation charges after allegations she used a fraudulent bank card at an east end business Wednesday.
City police were called around 9 o’clock. The woman had left, however, a suspect vehicle was identified.
An hour later there were reports of a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of a North Front Street business.
Police responded and determined the occupant was the same woman that had been at the east end business earlier.
Police have not identified the 34-year-old woman.
