Elexicon Energy is reporting a power outage in the City of Belleville Wednesday afternoon, though it is not as large as a Hyrdo One outage that affected thousands of residents in the Quinte West and Stirling areas earlier in the day.
Elexicon says failed equipment caused the outage that is impacting a few hundred customers in an area around Victoria Avenue and between Pinnacle Street and Bleecker Avenue.
Estimated time of restoration is around 8:30 p.m.
Hydro One was repairing equipment north of Belleville Wednesday morning resulting in the loss of power for about 4,000 homes and businesses.
It was restored around midday.
